Hyper Core Learning Center
Mission Statement:
“The mission of Hyper Core Learning Center is to equip our learners with strategies and tools to thrive in in a 21st century society. We will do this by assessing each child and customizing the approach according to their needs. Hyper Core Learning Center approaches this by providing a highly engaging blended learning model for social and academic enrichment programs. Our children will experience this in a safe, structured and supportive environment conducive to their success.”
Vision:
The Hyper Core Center will work collaboratively with families and the community to produce high achievement for diverse scholars to successfully increase their educational attainment.
History:
The Hyper Core Center was created by a dedicated group of parent volunteers and community leaders who strive for educational reform beyond the traditional academic setting, thus challenging our students with opportunities for teamwork, hands-on learning, social interaction, real-life problem solving, and to work on open-ended activities. HCLC is a non-profit learning center funded by family contributions, fundraisers, and community donations.
Instructional Approach:
HCLC offers a social enrichment environment with supplemental academic courses Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm. HCLC students have options—we offer multiple resources and services to meet your student's needs which allows blending a schedule together to best fit each student.
The Hyper Core Learning Center strives to create a personalized learning environment offering an optional Friday program opened to HC family members and any students who wish to participate. The Friday program consists of: coding and robotics, projects and problem based learning for STEM, performing and visual arts and off-site sports. The variety of choices and commitment to student success is what distinguishes the Hyper Core Center. HCLC also has an after school/extension program from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm that includes one-on-one tutoring.
